Adella was found as a stray, wandering in Tennessee, and is currently enjoying her time in boarding while she waits for a foster or, even better, a forever home. She has been doing well at doggie daycare and has happily spent time with other dogs, both male and female, getting along quite well with everyone. When she sees other dogs, she approaches with a wagging tail and a friendly attitude. She is an excellent car passenger, jumping right into the vehicle and riding very nicely! Adella is learning to walk well on leash without pulling. She is a bit timid around people and needs to be approached slowly and gently so she doesn’t get startled and look to run away. She has shown no aggression - she simply needs patience and time to build confidence with her people. Loud noises can also startle her, such as a car door shutting or a lawnmower starting up. With a calm approach, reassurance, and a little time, Adella is sure to continue blossoming into the wonderful companion she is meant to be.
