Meet Admiral
Admiral A574246Meet Admiral — 113 pounds of chill, and yes, that's a lot of chill to take up the couch. When Admiral first came into the shelter, he was nervous. Who wouldn't be? Shelters are scary places. He came in with his buddy, kept his distance, and let the world know he wasn't sure about it yet — a growl here, a wary whale eye there. But here's the thing about Admiral: given a little patience, compassion, and grace, he changed. Now? Cool as a (very large) cucumber. Admiral is quiet in his kennel and walks like a gentleman on the leash. He knows sit, shake, and down — and he'll show them off for you. He went potty several times on our stroll. He enjoyed taking in the sights and smells. In fact, he's a connoisseur of leaves, stopping to admire them with his nose like they're fine art. (He does walk a little slow, and he's a touch stiff in his back legs.)Toys? Not his thing. Admiral is a simple soul: he'd rather soak up the sunshine, sniff the world, and get a good round of pets and attention. He's looking for someone who'll give him time to decompress, a soft place to land, and plenty of head scratches. In return, you get the most loyal, low-key, 113-pound best friend a couch has ever seen. Watch my video: https://www.instagram.com/reel/DeanJ1zumdw/?exln=MTl5NHI5NnhtcXdwOQ==
