Meet Ajax

A NICE LITTLE FELLOW: Approx. 5 years old / Approx. 11 lbs. Hi, I'm Ajax! I came to Mostly Mutts when I found myself in need of a home, and thankfully, they took me in! I've been soaking up all the love and attention from the wonderful volunteers, and now I hear that I'm ready to find a family of my very own—I think that's the best news ever! I'm in a wonderful foster home while I wait for my furever family to find me. Plan to come meet me soon and see if I'm your new furry family member! • OTHER DOGS/CATS/KIDS: I met other dogs at Mostly Mutts, and though I wasn't quite ready to play, I also didn't show any aggression. I play nicely with the female dog in my foster home who's just a little bigger than me and my foster says I greet dogs of all sizes nicely on my walks, so if you have a nice dog at home already, let's meet! / Cats unknown. / I met some kids around 7 or 8 years old who approached me quietly and were very gentle with me and I liked them, so let's meet and best no toddlers that may fall on me. • PERSONALITY/ENERGY LEVEL: I'm a small, very sweet boy with a gentle and affectionate nature. I can be a little shy or scared at first, but then I'm friendly with people and just like to take a moment to sniff new friends. I'm a relaxed little Velcro dog who really enjoys staying close to my special person! I'm a sweet boy with a loving personality. My foster says I'm a "dream boy, pleasure to foster, well-mannered and an all-around joy to have around." / Energy level: 3-5, it may increase a bit once I'm settled in my new home. • SKILLS/CRATE/POTTY: I know the 'come' command and I also walk pretty nicely on my leash. Let's continue my training with the free lifetime training classes that Mostly Mutts offers for all their adopted dogs! / My crate manners are good at Mostly Mutts and were also good in one temp. foster home. In my current foster home, I don't want to sleep in my crate, but sleep well through the night on a dog bed next to my foster's bed. / My potty manners are good in my foster home. • LIKES/DISLIKES: I love getting pets, belly rubs, cuddles, and being held! I'm also a big fan of attention, relaxing with a nice nap, treats, playing with my doggie foster sister and going for walks. Spending quality time with my people is definitely one of my favorite things! / I can't think of any dislikes, though like all dogs, I'm sure I wouldn't like it if I didn't get enough love, attention, exercise, and training. • MEDICAL: I'm current on annual vaccinations, micro-chipped and neutered. I have a mild luxating patella in my right rear leg so I'm on a good over-the-counter Cosequin tablet daily for that. I'm on medicated baths twice weekly for a bit longer to help clear up some flaky skin from a flea allergy and these can be done easily in my new home. I'm a sweetie looking for some wonderful people that will make me an important member of the family. My adoption fee is $299.00, and I'm located in Kennesaw, Ga.
