Meet Alice

Alice is proof that a tough start doesn’t have to define your story. This sweet 1-year-old, 48-pound pittie mix arrived emaciated, with severe mange, a skin infection, and no hair. Just a month later, she’s thriving with her beautiful coat growing back, her weight coming up, and her sweet personality shining through. Playful, energetic, and wonderfully treat-motivated, Alice is crate-trained, mostly house-trained, and happily lives with two dogs in her foster home. She loves wrestling, zoomies, and walks. She’s perfectly happy entertaining herself with toys when her canine pals need a break. She even sleeps in until her humans are ready to start the day! Alice adores people and is learning that greetings are best served calmly. Like many young dogs, she’s working on her sometimes mouthy moments when excitement runs high, but she responds beautifully to patient, positive guidance. Her forever family should be ready to continue building her confidence, independence, social skills, and manners. Tough as nails, sweet as candy, Alice has left her past behind.
