Meet Amethyst

My name is Amethyst, and I’m ready to be your best friend. I’m 2 years old and weigh 18 lbs. I may be a mixed breed, but I have the intelligence and energy that matches a border collie. However, I’m small enough to fit on your lap! How ideal is that? Anyway, I love my humans. I like the older kids that live with me, since they know how to work on my commands and give me treats. I will follow you around, or the other dogs in the house if you have them. I like to watch at first, but now I will play happily in a game of chase or bark at the mailman. I love to be outdoors, but I am working on my leash skills. I also have some trust issues when I encounter dogs I don’t know. What can I say, they look suspicious if we aren’t properly introduced. I am starting to love my crate. Who doesn’t like a treat for doing the easiest trick there is? Plus it’s a quiet place that I can feel secure. If you would like to set up a play date, or a time to meet my bubbly personality don’t hesitate. I am ready and will bring the puppy kisses.
