Meet Antique! Antique is an adorable 5-year-old, 9-pound Poodle mix with a sweet personality and just the right amount of spunk! This little girl was found dumped and in horrible condition, but those days are behind her. She has been groomed, started on flea control, and is feeling so much better. Now she’s ready to find a family who will give her the love and patience she deserves. Antique is sweet, spunky and affectionate, but she needs a patient adopter who will give her a little time to feel safe and comfortable. She is learning to walk on a leash and making progress. She’s also not quite sure about having a collar put on yet, so she’ll need someone willing to work with her gently and help her learn that getting ready for a walk is nothing to worry about. Considering everything she has been through, Antique is doing wonderfully. She just needs someone who understands that sometimes rescue dogs need a little extra time, patience and reassurance before they realize they are finally home.
