Meet Armani

~~Although we do our very best to make sure your new pup is in tiptop health before adoption, things could drastically change a month later. Since we don’t have a long health history of your adopted dog, we can only treat the pet for whatever symptoms present during the initial exam and follow up exams.~ Health: ***** No obvious health issues found during vet exam ***** Temperament: Armani is a handsome long-haired Chihuahua/Pomeranian mix with a playful spirit, an even temperament, and a heart waiting for the right person to call his own. With a medium energy level, he’s the perfect balance of fun and relaxation. He enjoys walks, car rides, playtime, and water-hose adventures, but he’s equally happy curling up beside his favorite person for some downtime. Armani walks well on a leash and loves getting out to explore. He does have a habit of chasing cars, so he’ll need an adopter who can continue helping him stay focused and safe during walks. He rides beautifully in the car and is always ready to join you on your next adventure. He gets along well with other dogs and has great house manners, making him an easy and enjoyable companion at home. One of his favorite activities is playing with the water hose—if there’s splashing involved, Armani is all in! Like many Chi mixes, Armani can be cautious when meeting new people. Once he knows you’re a friend, though, his sweet and affectionate personality shines through. He bonds closely with his people and loves being near them, especially at bedtime. His favorite place to sleep is right in bed with his humans. Armani would do best in a home with adults or older, respectful children. Young children may feel overwhelming to him, and he thrives when given the time and space he needs to feel comfortable. If you’re looking for a sweet, well-mannered companion with a steady personality, playful charm, and plenty of love to give, Armani may be the perfect match. -- Where did he come from: He was a stray at the Mesquite Animal Shelter Adoption: ***** $800.00 ***** Weight: 5.58 lbs.
