Meet Asher

Meet Asher, smiles, wiggles, and howls included! Asher is a 1 year 6 month old Shepherd/Rottweiler mix who weighs 60 pounds. This handsome boy is equal parts adventure buddy and couch companion. He has a goofy personality, a playful spirit, and a happy go lucky outlook on life that’s guaranteed to keep a smile on your face. He’s also quite the talker! Whether he’s greeting you with his adorable howls or telling you all about his day, Asher never fails to make people laugh. One of Asher’s favorite things is getting out to explore. Whether it’s a long walk through the neighborhood, a new hiking trail, or simply stopping to sniff all the interesting sights and smells, he’s always excited for his next adventure. He starts every outing with enthusiasm, then settles into an easy walking pace and does wonderfully on a leash. After a day of exploring, he’s always ready for a little more fun, whether that’s a gentle wrestling match, some playful zoomies, or playing with a toy before happily curling up for a nap. Asher already knows how to sit and lay down, and he’s eager to keep learning. While we’re not completely sure if he’s fully potty trained, he does his very best to keep his kennel clean and should pick up a household routine quickly. He enjoys playing with other dogs and loves a good game of chase or a wrestling match, but he isn’t the type who constantly needs a canine friend to entertain him. He’s happy to play when it’s time for fun and equally happy to relax once he’s gotten his energy out. When meeting new people, Asher can be a little unsure around some men. He does best when they’re patient, gentle, and allow him to come to them at his own pace. Once he realizes he’s safe, his sweet and playful personality shines. Before long, you’ll be greeted with the cutest whole body wiggles, happy little tippy taps, and a grin that’s impossible not to smile back at. If you’re looking for a loyal companion who will make you laugh, happily tag along on your adventures, and then curl up beside you at the end of the day, Asher is ready to become your very best friend. 🐾🐾💜
