Meet Ashley

From Ashley's Foster :Ashley is a sweet little girl, quiet but fully engaged in everything going on around her. She has soulful eyes, as if she has seen the ups and downs of life and is now ready to settle down and enjoy life's pleasures exclusively. As revealed by her Doggy Day Out video, she is curious and brave, and can even swim! But in the home, she is calm and relaxed. She does not require constant stimulation. She can be a couch potato and nap with the best of them. She loves curling up on the couch or floor pillow. Her pocket size means she won’t take up too much space. She loves rubs and chin scratches and will snuggle up next to you for affection. She can be by herself for a few hours with no evidence of anxiety, but she is still working on house training when left for periods of time. She is getting better by the day. When you come home, she greets you with a happy tail and body wiggles. She can sleep peacefully through the night. She loves dog treats and fruit (apples and bananas), in moderation of course. She is not interested in toys or playing fetch. I suppose just didn’t have the exposure. She loves going for walks and letting the outside world excite her senses. No cats for this girl, or smaller animals to be on the safe side. When I would stop to speak to adults on our walks she would stand patiently to the side, waiting to continue the walk. I have not seen how she is with small children nor with dogs of similar or larger sizes, so I would recommend introductions.
