Meet Asia

Asia is an easygoing girl who is happiest keeping life simple. She’s well-mannered, calm, and content without demanding a lot of attention, making her a lovely companion for someone looking for a quieter, laid-back dog. She is VERY food motivated and takes treats so delicately right from your fingers that you can’t help but smile. And if you enjoy walks, Asia may just be your dream walking buddy! She is wonderful with new people, calmly greeting everyone, and has charmed every person she’s met. Asia has been good with her foster’s resident dog, generally preferring to do her own thing, with the occasional burst of playful silliness. She is a low-key, independent girl who isn’t interested in toys or constant affection, but she does enjoy the occasional cuddle on the couch. She sleeps peacefully through the night and is excellent in her crate. House training is still a work in progress, so she’ll need a patient person to help her continue learning. Most importantly, Asia needs a home without cats. She has an extremely strong fixation on them and will spend a great deal of time searching for them, even when they’re behind closed doors. A cat-free home is essential for her. We think Asia would thrive in a calm home with patient people who appreciate a good natured, resilient little buddy. Give her a good walk, a tasty treat, and a cozy place to nap, and she’ll be one happy girl! Asia is heartworm positive and will be going through her treatment very shortly. She can go on sleepover as long as her family can comply with the activity restriction and follow up medications.
