Hi, I’m Athena! I’m a very sweet, gentle girl who just needs a little extra time to feel safe and discover that the world isn’t quite as big and scary as it seems. I’m happiest when I can take things slowly, follow a predictable routine, and have a confident doggie friend by my side to show me that walks, new adventures, and people can actually be pretty wonderful! Once I’m comfortable, my curious, playful, affectionate side starts to peek out, and I really do have so much love to give. I’m looking for a quiet, patient home (16+ please!) where I can settle in at my own pace, and if you have a social, confident pup who wouldn’t mind being my brave little role model, I’d love to meet you.
