Meet Attie
Meet Attie, our 5-year-old, 35lb Spaniel mix who has never met a belly rub she didn’t love, a couch she couldn’t get comfortable on, or a person she didn’t want to be best friends with. Attie is a professional snuggler, part-time squirrel patrol officer, and full-time lover girl. Her favorite things include car rides, backyard adventures, dog park visits, and dramatically burying her face into the nearest pillow while you scratch her back. Her foster says her tail starts thumping the SECOND she senses someone might be coming over to give her attention. And she’s got the good-girl credentials to match! Attie is house-trained, crate-trained, knows her basic commands, and has a lovely low-to-moderate energy level. She’s friendly with people and enjoys other dogs, especially calm, confident companions. Attie would thrive with someone who loves a little shadow following them around, can provide consistent boundaries as she works on sharing her favorite spaces, and has plenty of belly rubs to spare. A home without cats is a must! Somewhere out there is a family that’s about to get VERY lucky. We just need them to find her! Apply to adopt Attie at rescuecity.nyc/adopt Attie seems a little more Spaniel than Poodle! She does shed and is not considered hypoallergenic.
