Meet Auggie

Meet Auggie! Auggie is a handsome 1-year-old, 50-pound Collie/Shepherd mix who is basically 50 pounds of puppy—curious, playful, athletic, and always ready to explore! He’s incredibly agile and shows some fun herding and retriever behaviors, so don’t be surprised if he wants to keep track of what everyone is doing one minute and retrieve something the next. He’s also a strong chewer, so durable toys and chews are a must. Auggie sleeps in his crate overnight and stays crated while his foster is at work. It’s definitely not his favorite place, but he accepts it without whining or making a fuss. What really stands out about Auggie is his incredible temperament. He’s friendly, engaging, adaptable, and genuinely a joy to have around. He’s a smart, attentive young dog with loads of potential and would absolutely excel with training—whether that’s basic obedience, more advanced skills, or activities that give his active body and clever brain something to do. We’ve also been told that Auggie is good with kids and cats. With his wonderful disposition, intelligence, athleticism, and playful puppy spirit, Auggie is ready for a family who will enjoy helping him learn, grow, and become an amazing lifelong companion.
