Meet August

August is a 3-year-old Mastiff mix with a giant head, an even bigger heart, and the kind of forehead wrinkles that make you wonder if he's contemplating all of life's greatest mysteries. This sweet boy is an absolute dream to walk. He moves at a nice, slow pace with no pulling, making time with him feel more like a peaceful stroll with an old friend than a workout. August has an incredibly calm, gentle demeanor. Between those adorable wrinkles and his soulful eyes, he gives off serious “wise old man trapped in a 3-year-old dog's body” energy. He looks like he has some very important thoughts — although they're probably mostly about treats, naps, and why you stopped petting him. Despite his impressive 74-pound size, August is simply a soft, easygoing sweetheart. He seems like the kind of pup who could settle comfortably into many different homes and would be perfectly content just being part of the family.
