Meet Augustus! Augustus is a 5-month-old Australian Cattle Dog/Collie mix who is as sweet as they come! Currently weighing 33 pounds, Augustus is expected to grow into a handsome 60-pound adult. This lovable boy is a happy, playful puppy who enjoys just about everything life has to offer. He loves playing with other dogs and can’t resist a good toy session. His playful personality makes him a wonderful companion for an active family looking for a fun-loving pup to grow up with. Augustus is crate trained and is working hard on his house training. Like any young puppy, he’ll need a family willing to continue his training, provide plenty of exercise and mental stimulation, and give him the patience and guidance he needs as he grows. With his sweet nature, playful spirit, and love of canine friends, Augustus is ready to find a family who will make him part of their forever adventures. Augustus is looking for a forever home where he can play, learn, grow, and—most importantly—be loved! The adoption amount is a suggested donation of $200 to $300 dollars based on the pet's age. **Because our rescue is composed entirely of volunteers, local applications will take precedence. We will accept out of town applications, but any family is responsible for coming to Charlotte to complete a meet and greet. All out of town applicants will also have to be willing to drive to Charlotte to pick up the pet as soon as they are approved to adopt.
