Meet Axel! Axel is a handsome 1-year-old Chocolate Lab with a big personality and even bigger energy! At 60 pounds, Axel is a strong, athletic young dog who is ready for an active family that can keep up with him. He is very high energy, playful, and friendly with other dogs. Whether it’s playing with his canine friends, going for adventures, or learning new things, Axel is happiest when he has plenty to do. Because Axel is young, strong, and full of energy, he will need lots of daily exercise, activity, and mental stimulation to keep him happy and healthy. An adopter who enjoys an active lifestyle and is ready to give him plenty of outlets for his energy would be ideal. Obedience training is strongly recommended to help Axel learn good manners, build confidence, and become the best dog he can be. He is a good boy with so much potential and would thrive with someone willing to provide consistent guidance, structure, exercise, and love.
