Meet Balto

Balto is a handsome 1-year-old, 55-pound Siberian Husky with a fun-loving personality and a heart full of love. Sweet, affectionate, and a little goofy, Balto enjoys spending time with his people and is always ready to brighten your day with his playful spirit. He's intelligent, curious, and eager to learn, making him a wonderful companion for an active family. Balto is friendly with other dogs, does well with children, and has also lived successfully with cats. He has a great balance of energy and affection—happy to join you on adventures but equally content to relax and cuddle when the day is done. Because Balto is a true Husky, he is looking for an experienced Husky owner who understands the breed's unique personality, intelligence, and exercise needs. He does not tolerate being crated and has injured himself trying to escape one, so his future family will need to provide alternative management and a secure environment where he can thrive. Balto is AKC registered and was lovingly owner surrendered after the other Huskies in the home repeatedly picked on him. Through no fault of his own, he is now searching for a family that will appreciate him for the amazing dog he is.
