Meet Banjo
This handsome boy is called Banjo and he looks nothing like what he will look when his shaved down, soft white fur grows out in the next 2 months. This well behaved 19 pound Poodle boy is just a year old and so very calm and amazingly easy going. We call him an "old soul". Maybe it is because he was raised by two elderly women who suffer from enormous health limitations and he has never had the chance to really be a puppy that acts frivolous and silly. He is the best dog ever on a leash and he is so kind around all other animals that it is uncanny. When we got the call to help Banjo and take him in, we expected a totally unruly and misguided personality. A dog that was terrible on a leash and not housebroken. Well we could not have been more surprised and delighted to see this boy be one of the best behaved dogs we have taken in to our rescue in a long while. Is he an A+ dog to consider? Oh my yes!!! No doubt he will be the biggest treasure that you have discovered in a long time. Good with all dogs, cats and all ages of people, we look for a family with older kids that are 8 and above and hope that he finds a fun family that delights in taking him places that we know he has never been before. Banjo is ready to play sweet music from his heart of hearts. Please email Critter Cavalry Rescue at ccrnewengland@gmail.com He is fostered in Nashville, TN ad we transport northward every weekend. He is ready to hope on the certificate animal transport van this weekend and start his new life.
