WATCH MY VIDEO...Meet Xylo, a fun-loving 1-year-old American Staffordshire Terrier who is ready to find a family with plenty of love, playtime, and room for a young dog to enjoy life! Xylo had a family of his own, but sadly came to our shelter when they no longer had room for him. They described him as affectionate, smart, and a great family dog. He is reportedly good with adults and children as young as 1 year old, making him a potential family companion. One of the things that makes Xylo especially impressive is how much he already knows. He knows “sit,” “down,” “stay,” and “over here,” and he’s eager to learn. His family told us he did well at the dog park and absolutely loved having a fenced yard where he could run and play. And at just 1 year old, he has plenty of youthful energy to put to good use! Xylo is reportedly okay with most dogs, but because every dog has their own personality, we recommend a meet-and-greet with any potential canine sibling. He has never been around cats, so we don’t know how he would feel about feline roommates. If you’re looking for a young, affectionate, intelligent dog who loves to play, enjoys having room to run, and already has a great start on his manners, Xylo could be your guy. He’s ready for a family who has room for him in their home, and, more importantly, in their hearts!
