🐾🤎 Hello there! My name is Beau! 🤎🐾 I'm a 1-year-old, 58-pound neutered Terrier/Hound mix, and I'm a gentle soul with a heart just as big as my soft brown eyes. I'm still learning that the world can be a safe and wonderful place, so I can be a little shy when we first meet. But if you give me some patience, kindness, and reassurance, I'll slowly let those walls come down and show you the sweet boy hiding underneath. 🥰Once I trust you, I'm an absolute cuddle bug! I love being close to my people and would happily spend my days soaking up affection and enjoying quiet companionship. I'm the kind of dog who doesn't need to be the center of attention—I just want to know I'm safe, loved, and with someone I can trust. I'm wonderful with other dogs, especially calm and friendly ones who understand that I'm a little shy. Having a confident canine friend around can help me feel more comfortable and show me that there's nothing to worry about. 🐶🐾 I'm also especially gentle with older folks. I have a soft, respectful nature and seem to understand that sometimes the best companionship is simply sitting quietly beside someone. I think I'd make a wonderful companion for an elderly adopter or a peaceful household with seniors. I'm still working on my leash skills, but I try so hard! I'm making progress every day, and with someone willing to be patient and encouraging, I know I'll continue to improve. I already know how to use a doggie door, too, which shows just how smart and observant I am. I may not be the dog who runs up to everyone with a giant greeting right away, but I have something pretty special to offer: the love of a dog who has learned to trust you.
