Meet Bella
New rescue sweetie from a shelter 🥰. Poor Bella was neglected. Her whole body was severely matted. Coat was stuck together. Had ear infections. The shelter shaved her down to her skin and picked out embedded fox tails and seeds. They gave her antibiotics and pain meds and ear flush/meds. She allowed all the handling while staff pulled out fox tails. Ouch! She tolerated it and was very gentle and sweet. At our vet Tama Veterinary Hospital she was timid but allowed handling ear cleaning and nail trim. Very sweet with vet staff. Got ear drops. Wounds are healing with a few scabs left. 💜🥰. Huge thanks to her dedicated foster home for committing and caring for her. Bella is dog friendly with two other dogs and family. She is very sweet skinny and hungry. Within a day she was already affectionate social and giving kisses to everyone. Day 2 she was playing with toys and other dogs. More info. to come while she relaxes learns and gets healthier.
