This 7 month old Goldendoodle puppy has the kind of gentle, loving nature that makes him a joy to be around, and he’s ready to find a family who will love him forever. Bernie’s story had a scary beginning. He was found in a canal in South Texas with his dad and brother, and thankfully, they were rescued before it was too late. The shelter notified their owners, but sadly, they no longer wanted them and surrendered them to Allie’s Haven. Now Bernie has a second chance at the happy life every dog deserves, and we can’t wait to help him find it! ❤️ Despite his rough start, Bernie is a kind, easygoing guy who seems to take life in stride. He loves playing with other dogs and would enjoy having a canine buddy to romp around with. He’s also crate trained, walks well on a leash, and is putting the finishing touches on his potty training. And here’s an extra bonus: Bernie is a smart boy who picks up training very quickly! ✨ Bernie has so much going for him. He’s still in the puppy stage and enjoys plenty of adventures, playtime, and fun with his family.
