Meet Billy

A HANDSOME & SWEET BOY: Approx. 1 year old / Approx. 30 lbs. Hi, I'm Billy! I came to Mostly Mutts when I found myself in need of a new home. I'm enjoying my time with the nice volunteers here who spend time with and take great care of me—they are so much fun to hang out with! Now I'm ready to find a wonderful family of my very own, where I can love and be loved furever! I hope to meet them very soon and charm them with my cuteness! • OTHER DOGS/CATS/KIDS: I met other dogs at Mostly Mutts and liked them, so if you have a nice dog at home already, let's meet! / Cats unknown. / I haven't met kids yet at Mostly Mutts, so let's meet and best no toddlers that I may bump over. • PERSONALITY/ENERGY LEVEL: I'm a handsome, happy boy with soft fur, an adorable face, and a whole lot of love waiting to share! I can be quite skittish and unsure when something surprises me, so please go slowly and give me time to feel safe. Once I warm up to you, you'll discover what a wonderful cuddle bug I am! I was an absolute sweetheart for my bath, staying calm and even giving kisses while I was being pampered. I'm also a curious, energetic boy who gets excited about exploring the world. When I'm nervous or excited, I may dart around your feet or weave between your legs, so please watch your step while I learn! I can also be a little mouthy when excited, but it's not meant to be unkind. Underneath my soft fur is the sweetest boy who wants to feel safe, make friends, and give his people lots of love! / Energy level: 4-6. • SKILLS/CRATE/POTTY: I'm in the Mostly Mutts University training program and look forward to learning a lot with my trainer! I'm currently working on my leash manners as I do pull. Check back soon to see what I've learned and let's continue my training with the free lifetime training classes that Mostly Mutts offers for all their adopted dogs! / My crate manners are good at Mostly Mutts. / I'm doing pretty well with my potty manners on the shelter schedule with a few accidents. • LIKES/DISLIKES: I enjoy playing with toys, and I love sitting with you, climbing into your lap for snuggles, and giving you lots of kisses. I'm sure we'll discover lots more things we like doing together in our new home! / Leashing can sometimes be a little uncomfortable to me with the overhead motion, etc. I'm working on this so just ask how it's going. Like all dogs, I'm sure I wouldn't like it if I didn't get enough love, attention, exercise, and training. • MEDICAL: I'm current on annual vaccinations, micro-chipped and neutered. I'm a wonderful fellow looking for a wonderful home and family that will make me a very important member of the family. My adoption fee is $299.00, and I'm located in Kennesaw, Ga.
