Meet Bluebird

Zip-a-dee-doo-dah! Mr. Bluebird is on my shoulder! This lil guy is sweet, social and gets along with others dogs and loves attention! He found his way to Mag Mutts after being removed from a hoarding situation. He is approximately 5 years old and weighs between 12-13lbs. When Bluebird first arrived, he had areas on his back, backend and rear legs with hair loss which was first thought to be from the conditions he was living in, but through Vet care and various treatments, it has been determined that it is likely to be alopecia. The condition of his skin has improved but it is unknown whether the hair will grow back. Foster Home Update: Blue gets along with other dogs and loves to be with his people! He would love a home where a person/couple/family is home more often than not and will dote on him! He does not bark at other people nor other dogs. He is crated at night and in the daytime if we are at work. If we are home where he can see us when crated, he will protest because he prefers to be with us. He is progressing with house training and will urinate outside when we are out with him, but, isn't completely potty trained and does have accidents in the house. He is a sweet boy! We recommend training for all our dogs! Blue Birds adoption donation has been reduced to $300 due to a generous donor. **Breed or size (once fully grown) is a 'best guess' and is not guaranteed since they arrived into rescue without either parent. **Magnificent Mutts is an all foster home based rescue and meets are held by appointment with the entire family in attendance. Please ensure your current pets are up to date with vetting, have landlord/HOA approval and are prepared to take your new family member home at the adoption appointment. Thank you for your interest!
