Meet Boomer

Boomer is a gorgeous purebred Weimaraner with a gentle soul and a heart full of love. This handsome boy found himself in need of rescue after his beloved owner passed away. Thankfully, a kind friend stepped up and gave Boomer a temporary place to land while we worked to find him a foster home. Now, Boomer is ready for the next chapter of his life—and hopefully, a forever family of his own. Boomer is fully vetted, potty trained, and wonderful with other animals and children. He walks nicely on a leash and has the sweet, easygoing personality that makes him such a joy to have around. Like many boys who enjoy the good life, Boomer has put on a few extra pounds! He is currently participating in our Allies exercise and weight-loss program, and he’s making his way toward a healthier, happier weight. We think a little extra exercise, some healthy habits, and plenty of love will have this handsome guy feeling his best in no time. There’s just something special about Boomer. He’s the kind of big, beautiful Weimaraner who would love nothing more than to have a family to call his own again.
