Meet Boulderface

Meet Boulderface, a 1-year-old XXL Bully mix with a head as big as his heart. This goofy guy came to us as a stray, so we don't know much about his past, but what we do know is that he's packed full of love, muscle, and personality. Boulderface may not be the sharpest tool in the shed, but he makes up for it with endless affection and an adorable "big doofus" charm. He absolutely loves people and believes personal space is optional. In fact, he's one of the biggest leaners you'll ever meet. If you're standing nearby, expect a giant bully-sized shadow pressed against your side. If you move, he's probably coming with you. Still very much a puppy at heart, Boulderface is learning the ropes. He already knows how to sit and usually comes when called, but he's still working on mastering those listening skills. With continued training, consistency, and patience, this lovable meathead is sure to keep making progress. Because of his size and strength, Boulderface is looking for a home with children over 8 years old who can comfortably handle a big, happy dog. He may enjoy a canine companion who can match his playful energy, but any meet-and-greets with resident dogs are recommended. Cats are definitely not his thing. Boulderface doesn't always realize just how big he is, and a feline friend would not appreciate his enthusiastic approach to life. The ideal home for Boulderface is one with someone willing to provide structure, guidance, and plenty of love. He needs a person who can occasionally put their foot down when this oversized puppy forgets his manners. In return, you'll get a loyal best friend, a professional cuddle expert, and enough love to fill an entire room. Please note: All of our animals are spayed/neutered and up to date on age-appropriate vaccinations. Each pet also receives a behavioral assessment to help us better understand the type of home they may thrive in. However, it’s important to remember that the results may not fully reflect an animal’s true personality, as shelter and foster environments can be stressful.
