Brandy is a 1.5‑year‑old, 31‑lb female Basset mix with a striking silky black‑and‑tan coat and an affectionate, people‑oriented nature. She is a social dog who gets along well with both cats and other dogs, making her a suitable candidate for multi‑pet households. Brandy has a naturally enthusiastic and bouncy temperament, and her energy level makes her best suited for families with older children who can appreciate her playful spirit. She is extremely snuggly, has little sense of personal space, and prefers to stay close to her people at all times. Brandy is known for her deep hound bark and expressive “grumble talk,” which she uses to communicate excitement or seek attention. She loves giving kisses and thrives on affection and companionship. Brandy is currently pad‑trained indoors and continuing to work on her overall potty‑training skills. She enjoys toys, playtime, and activities that allow her to be silly and interactive. She strongly prefers sleeping in bed with her people rather than in a kennel, and adopters should be comfortable with a close‑contact companion. Brandy is a loving, spirited young dog who will make a devoted and joyful addition to the right home.
