Meet Brigitta
Brigitta is a big, beautiful girl, who came from a family of feral Akbash dogs who had to be trapped in order to be brought to safety. Even after 4 years with us, she still prefers the company of other dogs to people. She spent time in the house when she was spayed, so she is house/potty-trained and crate-trained. But she's happiest outside. She gets along with other dogs, but like most Akbash females, she has alpha tendencies, so does best with dogs who are either completely submissive to her, or who are just as strong-willed as she is, which she seems to recognize as a dog who can be a worthy companion. Brigitta is not good with livestock or cats, so she is available for adoption ONLY as a companion animal or property guardian, NOT as an LGD.
