Brock may have started out on the streets, but this handsome boy is ready to trade life on the run for a forever home. Brock is a 3 year 8-month-old male Black Mouth Cur Mixed Breed Dog with a handsome short brown coat and a medium size of around 41 pounds. After being found running the streets, Brock is ready for the chance to discover what it means to have a family of his very own. Brock has a medium energy level and is a friendly boy who has done well with dogs and children. He has not met a cat, so his relationship with cats is unknown at this time. Brock will enjoy being part of a family and having people he can count on while he settles into his new surroundings and learns that he no longer needs to worry about life on his own. His house, crate training and leash training are in progress. Although many dogs become reliable with house training, accidents can still occur while adjusting to a new home environment. Brock would do best with a patient and committed family that understands he may need time to adjust after his time on the streets. Consistency, positive reinforcement, structure, regular exercise, and plenty of love will help him learn the routines of home life and become the best companion he can be.
