Meet Brutus
A cage. A hot parking lot. And a handwritten sign that said, “FREE PUP.” That is how 51-pound Brutus was abandoned on August 31—confined in the heat and left completely defenseless, as though his life had no value. Thankfully, someone found him before that terrible decision became a tragedy. Brutus has been safe in our care ever since, and after 16 days at the shelter, this goofy, fun-loving boy is fully vetted and ready for the home he should have had all along. Brutus loves other dogs and brings plenty of personality wherever he goes. Behind those big, soulful eyes is a playful boy who wants to have fun, make friends, and be included in whatever his people are doing. He has already learned what it feels like to be discarded. Now Brutus deserves to learn what it feels like to be chosen, spoiled, protected, and absolutely doted on.
