Meet BTS: Staples

This dog will be at the Pet Food Express Pet Fair - San Jose North on Saturday, September 12th and Sunday, September 13th from 10AM–3PM both days (unless adopted prior to the event). 5148 Stevens Creek Blvd, San Jose All DPS Rescue dogs are spayed/neutered, vaccinated, dewormed, flea/tick treated, and microchipped prior to adoption. Adoption fee: $800 Staples & Pencil The last of the Back to School litter Staples and Pencil are 8 week old Pomeranian mix littermates, born to their tiny but mighty mama, Teacher's Pet, in dramatic fashion—she delivered puppies at the shelter, in the car, and finally at her DPS foster home, all within a matter of hours, remaining a remarkably cool customer throughout. Raised in a loving foster home alongside three children and two dogs, these two are wonderfully social, affectionate, playful, and completely at ease in the cheerful chaos of family life. Their littermates have already found homes—now it's their turn. Staples Male | Red collar | Light coat | 5 lbs Outgoing and always ready to join the fun, Staples is one of the largest and tallest pups in the litter, with long legs, a hearty appetite, and an exceptionally fluffy coat that frequently sticks up in front of his eyes. He loves wrestling with his siblings, playing with toys, and settling in with a good chew bone—his energy arriving in hilarious spurts between bursts of quiet observation. Staples will be a fun, affectionate companion for a family ready to keep up with both his playful side and his impressive fluff. Pencil Male | Orange collar | Light coat | 3 lbs, 13 oz The smallest puppy in the litter, Pencil is no pushover. He can appear a little reserved at first, but warms up quickly and has a wonderfully cuddly side. He's perfectly capable of standing up for himself, though most of the time he's content to mind his own business and chew on his toys. With his sweet face, gentle nature, and one adorable white-tipped paw, Pencil is often the first to capture a visitor's heart.
