Meet Buddy - tiny but mighty
Meet Buddy! Buddy is a 3-year-old, 16-pound Dachshund/Poodle mix with a sweet, soulful nature and so much love waiting to be discovered. Since arriving in New Jersey, Buddy has made some progress settling in, but he’s still learning that he’s safe. He can be cautious and timid, especially with new people and unfamiliar situations, and he needs humans who understand that trust is built little by little. Buddy has been through a tough time, and what he needs most is patience, understanding, and the chance to move at his own pace. Once he feels comfortable, his sweet personality begins to shine through. He is incredibly endearing and has the potential to form a wonderful bond with someone who gives him the time and reassurance he needs. Buddy would love a calm, loving home where he can continue to gain confidence and learn what it feels like to be safe and cared for. In return, this special little guy will give you his heart—one small step at a time. ❤️ Buddy is up-to-date on vaccines, heartworm negative, neutered, and microchipped. His adoption fee is $500. - Adopting a dog is a commitment that will require annual veterinary care at a minimum, training, exercise, enrichment, etc. Pet care is not cheap or easy and adopters should consider the costs, time and training prior to adoption. After all these dogs have been through, they deserve a loving, committed home.
