Meet Burrito
Burrito is a roughly 100 lb, six-year old, neutered Great Pyrenees. He is up to date on vaccines and was rescued four years ago. He is incredibly sweet. He loves belly rubs and to lean on you. He is pretty chill and prefers to guard the perimeter of the yard or lay near you rather than play. With good nutrition and genetic testing it was discovered that Burrito is pure bred. He has worked with trainers over the past few years and he has made excellent progress. He follows several commands such as touch, go to spot, sit, leave it etc. There was an incident with the owners' daughter, who was wearing a costume. Burrito didn’t recognize her and although he did not bite, he knocked her over attempting to guard the house when she entered and she got injured. It was a very traumatic experience for her and after a lot of tough discussions his owners have decided that it is time to find a home that would be a better fit for Burrito. The owners are willing to drive if they think it is a great fit. Burrito tolerates the owners' cat who is always trying to annoy him. He does well with people he knows but has strong guarding instinct which is typical of the breed. A home without children is probably best for Burrito.
