Meet Buttercup

Buttercup – Affectionate, Playful, and People-Oriented Buttercup is a 1-year-old Shepherd mix weighing 51 pounds. She’s a sweet, easygoing girl who loves being close to her people and would happily spend her day soaking up affection, snuggling, and enjoying their company. People-focused and affectionate: Buttercup loves staying close to her humans. She gently leans into pets and may even give you a little lick to show her appreciation. A natural cuddlebug: Buttercup prefers handler-directed activities like “fetch”, but her favorite thing is simply sitting with her person and getting lots of pets and snuggles. Well-mannered and learning: Buttercup walks nicely on leash, takes treats gently, and sits when asked. She’s working on her “down” and has already shown off her excellent “paws up” skills on outdoor furniture. Rambunctious with her dog friends: Buttercup is currently one of the most playful dogs in her playgroup and can be pretty vocal as she pursues and initiates play with her friends. Buttercup would do best with appropriately matched dogs, or as a solo dog with appropriate dog friends.
