Meet Callahan

A SWEET & HANDSOME FRIEND: Approx. 1 year old / Approx. 35 lbs. Hi, I'm Callahan! I came to Mostly Mutts when I found myself in need of a home! Thankfully, they took me in, and I am soaking up all the love and attention from the volunteers here and I heard them say that I'm now ready to find a family of my very own. I think that is the best news ever! Plan to come meet me soon and see if I am your new furry family member! • OTHER DOGS/CATS/KIDS: I met other dogs at Mostly Mutts and liked them, so if you have a nice dog at home already, let's meet! / Cats unknown. / I haven't met kids yet at Mostly Mutts, so let's meet and best no toddlers that I may bump over. • PERSONALITY/ENERGY LEVEL: I'm a handsome, smart, and friendly boy with a sweet, calm personality. I can be a bit nervous at first, but I'm wonderfully gentle and loving once I feel comfortable. I was relaxed and calm throughout my bath, giving lots of kisses, and I was a patient boy during my extensive ear cleaning. I was also very grateful for the amazing bone I received afterward! Yummy! / Energy level: 4-6. • SKILLS/CRATE/POTTY: I'm in the Mostly Mutts University training program and have already mastered the 'come' and 'down' commands and I look forward to learning more. Let's continue my training together with the free lifetime training classes that Mostly Mutts offers for all their adopted dogs. / I'm doing well in my crate at Mostly Mutts. / My potty manners have been good on the shelter schedule, so hopefully that will be the case in my new home too. • LIKES/DISLIKES: I like playing with toys, treats and spending time with the nice volunteers. Once I'm settled into my new home, I'm sure we'll discover lots more things we will enjoy doing together, I can't wait! / I can be a little fearful of passing cars when I'm out and about with the volunteers, though I'm improving with time and positive experiences. And like all dogs, I'm sure I wouldn't like it if I didn't get enough love, attention, exercise, and training. • MEDICAL: I'm current on annual vaccinations, micro-chipped and neutered. I'm a wonderful dog looking for a wonderful family that will treasure me! My adoption fee is $299.00, and I'm located in Kennesaw, Ga.
