At 3 years old, this gorgeous orange German Shepherd is a sweet guy with a big heart and a personality that’s still unfolding. He can be shy and unsure in new situations, but give him some treats, gentle encouragement, and a little time, and he’ll start showing you just how affectionate he can be. He absolutely loves pets and did wonderfully with gentle handling all over his body. He’ll lean in for snuggles and has even been known to let his people know when he’d like more attention or another treat! ??He enjoys getting outside to sniff and explore, and he can walk nicely on leash once he settles in. New environments can make him nervous, and he may stop or hesitate, but he’s willing to keep moving with patience and encouragement. He has also calmly ignored other dogs while out on walks. This sweet Shepherd is looking for someone who will give him the time and patience he needs to build confidence and feel safe.
