Meet Caramel

Caramel is proof that sometimes the sweetest things in life come in big packages! In fact, Caramel is certain that she is a 56lb lap dog. This beautiful 2-year-old girl is currently enjoying a much-needed break from the shelter in foster care, but what she wants most is a forever family to call her own. Friendly, affectionate, and endlessly loving, Caramel is the kind of dog who doesn’t just sit beside you, she melts into your lap and soaks up every bit of attention you’re willing to give. Caramel is as smart as she is sweet. She’s a very fast learner and is highly motivated by her favorite thing in the world: treats! She’s a social butterfly who enjoys meeting people and has shown wonderful manners around other dogs, remaining calm and non-reactive when passing through the kennels. She also appears to be housebroken, making her transition into a forever home even easier. Outside, Caramel’s playful side shines. She loves to run, explore, and stretch her legs, showing off the youthful energy you’d expect from a happy 2-year-old dog. Caramel is also bravely undergoing heartworm treatment, and we’re here to support her every step of the way. Her treatments will continue to be covered by our clinic, even after adoption, so she can focus on what matters most—enjoying a loving forever family. Caramel is ready for a lifetime of cuddles, adventures, and unconditional love.
