Meet Cartier
At just 3 years old, Cartier the Shih Tzu is ready to find a family to call his own! This handsome little guy may be shy when you first meet him, but give him a little time and patience, and you'll see him begin to warm up and show his sweet personality. Cartier is a good leash walker and enjoys spending time with other small dogs, making him a lovely companion for walks and furry playmates. As a Shih Tzu, he'll need regular grooming to keep his coat looking and feeling its best. Cartier is still learning the ropes and would benefit from additional training to master basic commands. With patience, consistency, and positive reinforcement, he'll have the support he needs to build confidence and become the best companion he can be. What Cartier wants most is a warm, loving family who will give him the time to feel safe, the guidance to help him grow, and all the love he deserves. In return, you'll have the chance to watch a shy little boy blossom into a devoted companion. Could you be the one to give Cartier his happily ever after? If you are interested in adopting me or another homeless pet at Macomb County Animal Control, walk-in adoption hours are Monday-Friday from 10am-4pm. My adoption fee is $175
