Meet Cash

CASH is available for adoption!! He is a young male akita that is friendly and has gotten along with friendly dogs through the fence. He has done well with his bath, walks well on leash, and is a very sweet young boy. Cash was rescued from the shelter at a very young age and appeared to never know what a loving home or human was. He was always friendly but did not know how to connect with affection. He also had high anxiety in crates or small kennels and in cars. We have been working with him and he has become an affectionate boy!! He did not know what toys were and now loves to chase balls and play tug of war! Cash still has serious anxiety in cars and small spaces, maybe due to neglect or abuse at a very young age but we are working with him and he is starting to ride in a car without sedatives. His anxiety does not display in any mean type of behavior just panic, where he wants to escape. Cash is very trainable and an adorable boy that is easily handled in the bath, on walks and has no food or toy aggression. He has grown so much with love and needs a home that can continue encouraging his growth and help him leave his fears behind forever!!
