Meet Cassie

CASSIE: PROFESSIONAL PERSONAL SPACE VIOLATORA young Pit Bull mix with a big heart and an even bigger love for her people! At about 1 year and 3 months old and 65 pounds, Cassie is affectionate, playful, and firmly believes that personal space is optional. She loves following her people around, leaning in for pets, sitting on their feet, and doing her best to become a lap dog! Cassie recently enjoyed a Doggy Day Out and showed what a wonderful companion she can be outside the shelter. She rode quietly in the car, walked beautifully on leash, and calmly greeted people along the way. At La Luz Coffee, she confidently walked inside, happily greeted customers, and soaked up all the attention. She even calmly watched a little poodle through the glass door with a happy, wagging tail. At home, Cassie explored, played, greeted everyone with enthusiasm, and then happily settled in for a nap. She has plenty of playful energy but also knows how to relax and settle.
