Meet Chanel

Meet Chanel, a big, beautiful Dogo Argentino with an unexpectedly mellow personality and absolutely no concept of personal space. Chanel is a large, powerful girl, but underneath all that muscle is an affectionate softie who wants to be close to her people. And we mean close. Chanel is perfectly happy leaning against you, climbing in for affection, or even attempting to sit in your lap. She is social with people, attentive to her handlers, and genuinely seems to enjoy being part of whatever her person is doing. She’s also dog-friendly and has done great socializing with other dogs in playgroup. Chanel knows “sit” and “come,” listens well, and is eager to please. She’s very food-motivated, which should be a great asset for continuing her training, and despite her impressive size, she takes treats ever so gently. Chanel is strong and could use some continued work on her leash manners, but she is responsive and engaged with her handler. She has a wonderful combination of strength and softness: a substantial dog with a mellow demeanor, a social nature, and a whole lot of affection to give. If your idea of a lap dog has room for a few extra pounds, Chanel would very much like to meet you.
