Meet Cheech

Hi there! I'm Cheech and I am a 4 year old Lab/Bully mix. I was at the city pound for almost a whole year with no luck at finding my forever home. I was brought to PCHS in hopes of getting a better chance of being adopted. I'm a sweet boy and just need someone to teach me some manners. I'm highly food and treat motivated and have already got sit down pat, so I'm excited to know of all the other things I can learn! I seem to do okay with other dogs but would need a proper introduction to be safe. Cats on the other hand seem a little too interesting so I'd be best to go to a home without kitty friends. I do good with children too! I'm not sure if I am housetrained, but I am used to a doggy door and do great with that so I'm sure once I get a set potty-schedule in a home I'll do just fine. Polk County Humane Society is located in Bolivar, Missouri, and we welcome adopters from any state. We have access to a transport to Aurora, CO. Other out of state adopters either travel to Missouri or arrange & pay for air transport. Virtual meet and greets are available on the appointment request.
