She bonds quickly with her people and happily follows along as your quiet little shadow, always wanting to be nearby. While she’s not overly clingy or demanding, she finds comfort simply being close to the people she trusts. There’s something incredibly special about her calm presence and soft, loving nature. Cherry is drawn to adults and is especially smitten with men. She does best with slow introductions into new homes and with new animals, but she's incredibly loving and loyal once she settles in. Watching Cherry settle into a safe environment and slowly let her personality shine has been so rewarding. She’s the kind of dog who doesn’t ask for much — just kindness, patience, and someone to love. In return, she’ll give unwavering loyalty and sweet companionship that makes a house feel like home. Cherry has the perfect balance of playful and couch potato energy. She enjoys relaxing walks, spending time with other dogs, and stretching out in the grass to soak up the sunshine. Her dream day includes a soft stuffy toy, plenty of treats (she hasn’t met one she doesn’t like yet!), and simply being close to her people. And then there’s her funniest little quirk: Cherry is absolutely OBSESSED with mirrors. If she spots her reflection, she’ll stop and admire herself like she knows exactly how beautiful she is — and honestly, she’s right. Between her dramatic full-body stretches and her proud mirror moments, she keeps everyone around her smiling. Cherry is simply easy to love.
