Meet Chief
Real Life Furry Goofball- Meet Chief! Chief’s finder noticed him alongside a busy roadway as they were traveling through, fearing he had been hit by a car- our Animal Control Officer responded and brought him safely to the shelter. He was neither chipped nor had an ID, and sadly no family came to reunite with him during his stray hold. It was determined by our medical team that he was healthy, presenting no injuries! YAY! It wa also determined that Chief is indeed a goofy boy who loves to play and would love to carry a toy with him when he walks. We don’t make the rules here, this is Chief’s world! Since he has been with us, he met a smaller neutered male, pulling hard to get to his new buddy! The sniffing then commenced, nose to nose with a loose wagging tail. Chief was ready to play, throwing his backside in new friend’s face. Again, it's his world! It was concluded that he is for sure a goofy and sweet boy! If you are okay with a little goofiness in your life and need to add some sweetness to it, too… you HAVE to come meet Chief in person to see if it is a match! We always recommend meet and greets with other dogs and children before adoption to ensure a great fit for all! We have no information how he does with cats and have no way to test for such. We are a first come, first served and in person adoption center with no ability to hold an animal for a potential adopter. Make sure forever is a promise you can keep BEFORE you adopt!
