Meet Chucky
Meet Chucky! Chucky is a fun-loving, medium-energy boy who loves fetch, and meeting new people. He recently joined a trail walk with other shelter dogs and did fantastic—walking well in a group, staying non-reactive to passing dogs, and happily soaking up all the attention. He takes treats gently, and is very well-mannered overall. Chucky can pull on the leash at first from excitement, but settles down nicely after a bit. He’s still learning some basic manners, but he’s eager to please and means well. He also loves to shred blankets, so durable chew toys would be a great fit for him! Chucky does have Babesia, a tick-borne condition that affects red blood cells, but many dogs with Babesia live happy, normal lives with proper care and monitoring. Chucky is ready for a home of his own filled with love, playtime, and adventure.
