Meet Cicero

Cicero is a 3-year-old Poodle mix with a lively personality, a curious mind, and plenty of energy to keep life interesting! He came to us from animal control and is now settling into foster care while learning all the things he needs to know to be the best companion he can be. Cicero's foster family is working with him to perfect his potty training and improve his leash manners. He enjoys going for walks, getting pets, and, of course, receiving yummy treats! He's an alert little guy who likes to keep an eye on his surroundings and may bark a bit when something catches his attention. He's an active boy who will benefit from daily walks, playtime, and opportunities to explore. A fenced yard would be a wonderful bonus! Cicero gets along with the dogs in his foster home, although he may be selective about his canine friends. He could be happy as your one-and-only pup or potentially share his home with another dog his size or smaller, with proper introductions. When it comes to affection, Cicero enjoys attention and pets, but he's not necessarily the type to spend the whole day curled up on the couch. He may come over for some love and then wander off to see what's happening around him! He's happy to be invited onto the couch or next to you, but he can take a little time to settle down and is easily distracted by the world around him. He's got things to do and places to investigate! Another bonus? Cicero doesn't shed, but he'll need regular grooming to keep his coat looking and feeling its best. Cicero is looking for an active family who will give him plenty of exercise, continue working on his training, and appreciate his curious, independent personality.
