Clarence is 72 lbs of pure LOVE.Meet Clarence — a 1-year-old Boxer dreamboat who is ready to be someone’s whole world. He’s great on leash and calm in his kennel or play area. He has some friends he hangs out with here, like Luna. He’s also a day trip favorite who gets a lot of positive attention! But what Clarence really wants? You. He’ll lean his sweet red self against your legs and gaze up into your eyes while you pet him. Volunteers say it best: “he just melts into you.” And trust us… it only takes one walk to fall head over heels. He’s playful, gentle, and has that steady, family-dog energy. Though Clarence is always a gentleman and well mannered, when it’s time to head back to his kennel after a walk, he softly resists. He looks up at you with those big brown eyes that seem to say, “Please don’t put me back. I just want to stay with you.”Clarence is breaking our hearts — but he doesn’t have to. He just needs someone to choose him. He needs a home with no cats or small animals. Come meet Clarence at our Goleta shelter on Overpass Rd. You'll see what we all see.
