This big, sturdy guy, who looks like he should own the world, is actually exceptionally sweet and shy. He has a very Golden retriever personality. Claus did not know a lot of love in his early years on this earth. While not having been mistreated, he was more rather ignored, and as soon as you meet him you realize his main goal in life is to be loved for the good boy that he is. He has lived with several other dogs and done very well with them, but he longs to have human companionship. After waiting for two years, we think he deserves the very best!
