She is sweet and very smart. She already knows “sit and stay”and shows all the signs of being an incredibly trainable companion. When you take her out of her kennel or return her to it, she is calm and non-reactive around the other dogs, which is wonderful to see in a shelter environment. She walks beautifully on leash and is a pleasure to take for walks. But perhaps her most adorable quality? She gives the best hugs! She loves connecting with people and will look up at you as if to ask, “Did I do good?” That desire for your approval tells us she could really thrive with someone willing to continue teaching her and building her confidence.
