Meet Craig

Hi… I’m Craig. I'm one of the staff favorite's here! I’m really a gentle, sweet boy—I just need a little time to build trust at first. New things can feel a bit scary, but give me a few tasty treats and some patience, and I’ll be coming up to you for attention nonstop before you know it. I’m one of 30 dogs who were rescued from a large seizure in Wilson County. Life before that was pretty overwhelming, so I’m still learning that things can be safe and kind. Once I feel comfortable, I really enjoy being around my dog friends. Running around with them is one of my favorite things, and I’d do best in a calm, loving home where I can feel secure and relaxed. I’m not asking for much—just a quiet place and someone kind who understands me. I weigh about 14.6 pounds and was born around March 2015, so I’m a sweet senior boy. I’ve been here a while now, just waiting and hoping someone will see me for who I am and give me a chance. My adoption fee is $250, and you can apply to meet me at www.adoggie4you.org. I’m currently in Texas, but I can be transported to Washington, Portland (Oregon), Minneapolis, Milwaukee, Chicago, Des Moines, Omaha, Cincinnati, Lexington, KY, and along the East Coast. If I need a ride to you, there’s an additional $225 transport fee. I can’t go to Rhode Island or Massachusetts because of state rules. I may be a little shy at first… but I promise, I’ve got a lot of love to give. I just need someone to give me that chance. ❤️
